Referential expressions in comic strips
Abstract
The main focus of this article is the study of textual linguistics applied to the hypergenre of comics, especially comic strips. The main focus is the study of referential expressions, especially when applied in teaching. The emphasis is on deictic studies. As an object of study, we chose Laerte's strips. The theoretical texts come from two sources: those of
textual linguistics and deixis with Cavalcante (2004) and (2015); and with the use of comics in the classroom with text by Ramos (2022). In the end, in addition to the contribution to the areas of linguistics and teaching, we propose a pedagogical activity for teachers in training, which serves as an example and not a single path for the use of comics to teach referential expressions in Portuguese
