Abstract

Introduction: The requirements for understanding the various forms and or styles of learning and the repercussion and understanding of this phenomenon in the academic environment makes researchers mobilize and reflect in the search for strategies that best respond to students' learning. The objective of the study was to outline the learning profile in this population. Method: It is an observational, cross- sectional study without a control group, using a translated and validated questionnaire that was applied to undergraduate students from various periods of the Physiotherapy course at a particular University. The Felder & Silverman questionnaire was applied, translated by the research group University of the 21st Century with 44 questions and 2 answer options, validated in Brazil. Result: 140 students answered the questionnaire (female = 108 and male = 32), the profile that prevailed was sensory (5.49 ± 3.4) followed by the visual style (2.68 ± 3.0), sequential (2,33 ± 2.5) and the active (2.23 ± 2.7). Conclusion: The results indicate that these students to learn have the habit of perceiving, retaining, processing and organizing their activities to be able to perform well in their professional activities.
