Abstract

Este artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre a afirmação freudiana, “a anatomia é o destino” à luz da releitura de Lacan. Ao retomar os fundamentos do complexo de Édipo e da castração, o texto desloca o enfoque da diferença anatômica para a estrutura da linguagem, colocando em destaque a função fálica como operador simbólico que regula o desejo e a sexuação. A partir da noção de significante, objeto a e gozo, o artigo reflete a forma como o sujeito se inscreve na estrutura e como responde à perda fundadora do simbólico. A chamada escolha é revista como uma escolha forçada, determinada pelo modo como saber, gozo e objeto foram apresentados pelo Outro. A interdição do gozo é pensada como uma condição universal de entrada na linguagem e, ao mesmo tempo, como o que funda a singularidade do sintoma. Por fim, sustenta-se que o confronto com a impossibilidade, e não sua negação, pode abrir espaço para um desejo menos alienado, para a invenção e para a realização de um ato verdadeiro.
