Abstract

This article proposes a reflection and analysis of the family structure and its interaction with the figure of the adolescent in transformation. In their transformation, adolescents build their individualities, facing the bereavements that materialize at this stage of life and have relevant impacts on their relationships with their parents. These bereavements are studied from a psychoanalytic point of view as a theoretical basis for understanding the behavior of adolescents in their growth as a person and as a member of a family entity.
