Cultural discourses around maternity homes. Their tensions

Abstract

The present work is part of the Quadrennial Research Project (2016-2020) entitled "The feminine and the maternal in
our time". In this opportunity we present the current modes that predominate in the culture to "say" the maternities. We
return to the difference we have made in previous works, between expertise and experience, to add to the first, belonging
to the scientific dissemination, the speeches of advertising, as its continuation; And as a reverse of the positivist postulations, we take the literary discourse conjugated in the work of Ariana Harwicz; Which points to the singular experience.
