Abstract

The article discusses how the textbook of the so-called "New High School" deals with the issues of Human Rights, wars and peace in relation to the deepening of its themes for classes in the disciplines of human and social sciences, especially Philosophy. Starting from the need for reflections inherent to philosophical reasoning, the text also alludes to the philosopher Immanuel Kant's ideals of peace, fundamental for the teacher's work on the subject in the classroom.
