African resistances and life stories
Abstract
This special issue of Trivium: interdisciplinary studies (v.1 no. esp., 2023) has a story that deserves to be told. In it, the reader will find some texts that were presented at the online International Colloquium, African Resistances and Life Stories: The power of Mother Africa through the ages deconstructing colonialist power, held on May 27 and 28, 2022, known as the May 2022 Colloquium. This event was part of the International Research Group African Resistances and Life Stories and its organization This research group, created in 2021, is made up of professors and researchers from three continents - Africa (Senegal, Niger and Congo); Latin America (French Guiana and Brazil); Europe, notably France - implicated in the process of decolonization and African resistance in the world. Chapter 11 of the book Vingt cinq ans de vie d'une collection. Quelle (s) histoire (s) en formation? (Ozorio, L. in Pineau G.et Breton, H. (L’Harmattan, 2022) - « S’ouvrir à des épistémologies Sud pour une formation sociopolitique autonomisant » - , deals the important contribution of this research group to this process.
