Abstract

This article aims to present the concept of Amefricanity, created by Lélia Gonzalez (1935-1994), a black feminist activist, as well as a Brazilian university professor, philosopher and anthropologist. This work will also bring some reflections on the idea of Ladin Amefrica, also proposed by Gonzalez. Like amefricanity, the term constitutes, intrinsically, a form of resistance and creation, and can be thought of in its connection with other of these forms.
