Abstract

This article intends, through a bibliographic review, to evaluate the place of Human Sciences for humanity, establishing three metaphorical relationships with the sensation of tickling, they are: feeling, disdain, and duality. Such relationships are about the Human Sciences “tickling” the sciences and scientists. To this end, theorists such as Fromm (1979), Huxley (2016) and Pessanha (2018) will be used, who approach the human and, thus, establish a dialogue with Kuss (2017), who looks with affection at the tickle. It is concluded that “tickling the Human Sciences” requires the researcher's intention to perform it, an intention that is human in essence.
