  • Inacio Antonio Silva Mariz

Abstract

This article has as its objective emphasize the importance of the psychoanalytic critique to the modern reason based on Freud’s knowledge of malaise. We will show how modernity set up the rational subject and the impacts of that set up to the organization of the psychism based on a Freudian reading. The malaise inherent to the modern rationality takes us to an idea of psychoanalytic subject who will be described through three fundamental concepts in Freudian theory, which are: drive, unconscious and desire. We will emphasize at last the pertinence of the psychoanalysis to think a brand new order of recognition of the subject, that consider the importance of productive experiences of indeterminacy.
