Abstract

This article intends to make a brief journey in the trajectory of the Russian dancer Waslow Nijinsky in his body events and the effects of the sinthome as a possible substitute instrument in his structure. Thus , we ask ourselves if it is possible to conduct an intervention in the fundamental symptom via the sinthome ? This question immediately leads us to the hypothesis that the parlêtre, artifice of his savoir faire is capable of constructing his sinthome, protecting himself from a trigger or even sustaining in the structure an engagement of the real, the symbolic and the imaginary with a footstool of the social bond. Thus, Nijinsky teaches us with his sinthome possible ways of treating the fourth link in the chain, its effects and events in the reality of the chain, in the reality of the psychoanalytic clinic.
