Aligned with the most rigorous international standards of ethics, integrity, and scientific transparency, Symbios establishes itself as a strategic vehicle for the dissemination of robust, innovative, and socially responsible evidence within the health field.
Symbios was established in 2026, driven by the growing significance and maturity achieved by the Health Sciences departments at Universidade Veiga de Almeida. With research efforts broadening and academic output in rapid expansion, the journal begins its journey focused on structuring its editorial foundation. As a newly launched project, the journal is currently in the consolidation phase of its inaugural volume; for this reason, it does not yet have published issues.
We hereby inform you that the ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) will be formally requested from the competent authorities as soon as the first issue is finalized, following standard regulatory procedures. Similarly, the process of indexing in national and international databases will occur gradually and rigorously as periodicity and volume criteria are met, reaffirming our commitment to building a journal of excellence and a benchmark for the global scientific community.
