Resumo
This study explores the subversion of the Cartesian cogito proposed by Sigmund Freud and Jacques Lacan for the construction of a theory of the ego and the subject in psychoanalysis. The theoretical foundation includes the distinction between enunciation and statement, concluding with the clinical case of the Rat Man, highlighting what Lacan referred to as a revealing interpretation made by Freud, who perceived the truth of the unconscious subject in Ernst Lanzer's dilemma.
